Summer of 2012
I am planning on interning for a company called Association Technologies for the Summer of 2012 doing the following:
Video production work: Staff highlights and customer testimonial videos
Hardware and software development and research: Finding, testing, and reviewing new products before they become implemented into clients workflows.
Basic networking and workstation servicing.
In addition to working I will also be going out to the Crow Creek Native American Reservation in South Dakota for what will be my third time. I am super excited to work with some of the Barrington High School students and the natives. I will be bringing my camera and documenting as I go.
Stay tuned for more updates!

It’s official, I’m going to South Africa in the fall of ’12
I officially got an invitation to work in Cape Town, South Africa during the fall of this year. I will be interning at a production house called Big Sky Productions. My expectations for my time in South Africa are completely open to be honest. I don’t really know what to expect. I’m not really sure where I will be living, how I will get to work, or other details about my internship, I simply know that I have a place to stay and hopefully some one will pick me up from the airport. I hope to get some freelance work as well in the video industry hopefully doing some camera operating, focus pulling, etc.
Overall, I can’t wait to start working at Big Sky and see where my Media Fellows internship will take me next semester.
